“Happy City” Produced by Shenzhen Happy Toon Animation Co., Ltd., [Happy City] is China’s first 3D animated series to seamlessly integrate science fiction, educational elements, and adventure themes. Spanning an impressive 3,000 minutes, this epic production stands as a landmark in domestic animation. Recognized by China’s National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) on its “List of Outstanding Domestic Animated TV Programs – Second Batch, 2012,” “Happy City” was hailed as “an original animated work with strong educational value and high entertainment quality,” cementing its status as a flagship project in China’s science-popularization animation genre.

We contributed to the audio creation for “Happy City”, including sound design, original music composition, voice acting, and final mixing. For the score of “Happy City”, we seamlessly blended electronic synthesizers with symphonic orchestration to evoke both the boundless possibilities of futuristic worlds and the warmth of traditional instrumentation. Delicate piano melodies and string sections intertwine with powerful percussion and deep basslines, creating a vibrant and immersive sonic landscape that mirrors the visual storytelling. This fusion enhances emotional depth and narrative tension, ensuring every scene resonates with audiences.
