“Little Hakka (Seasons 1–2)” Produced by Shenzhen OCT Culture Group, Little Hakka is a 104 – episode original 3D animated series adapted from the popular fairy tale The Flying Little Hakka Hat, encompassing two seasons: The Return of the Egrets and The Magic Hat. Set against the cultural backdrop of the Southern Chinese Hakka region, it follows a young girl named Aliang and her magical hat, which holds the powers of nature, as they protect their rural homeland. The show beautifully weaves ecological awareness, family warmth, and personal growth into a poetic, pastoral narrative that showcases the lush, natural beauty of Southern China.

Thanks to its distinct cultural identity and wholesome values, the series won Best Children’s Film at the 14th Canada China Film Festival, a rare international accolade for a preschool animation. It was also recommended as an Outstanding Domestic TV Animation by the National Radio and Television Administration, featured frequently on CCTV Kids, and streamed at the top of children’s charts on Golden Eagle Cartoon, Youku, Tencent Video, and iQIYI. The IP has successfully achieved cross – industry integration, with derivative picture books, educational programs, and eco – tourism camps implemented across OCT’s cultural resorts, establishing Little Hakka as a highly influential children’s brand.

Our team delivered the complete, full – scope audio production for the series, including composing the original theme and ending songs, full – score arrangement, character voice casting, sound design, and the final master mixing.
