“Heartprint of the Zhonghua Gate” co – developed by Liangye Technology Group and the Nanjing City Wall Protection and Management Center, is China’s first large – scale, live – action projection mapping spectacular. As a flagship cultural and tourism integration project for Nanjing, it has received significant backing from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Nanjing Municipal Government since its inception, serves as a benchmark model for nighttime economy promotion and cultural heritage revitalization.

Since its launch in 2021, the production has utilized the 600 – year – old Ming Dynasty city wall as a massive open – air stage, blending advanced projection mapping, digital media art, and live theatrical performances to vividly recreate the historical depth and modern energy of the ancient capital. This landmark attraction is far more than a visual show; it is an immersive experience that masterfully unites cultural preservation, technological innovation, and city branding.

Our team spearheaded the audio system architecture and sound production. We deployed a specialized task force led by senior acoustic engineers and creative directors to field – record and artistically reconstruct authentic local elements, including the Qinhuai River soundscape, traditional street cries, and classic regional opera styles. Utilizing Dolby Atmos technology for the multi – channel layout, we precisely mapped out a highly spatialized, immersive audio environment. Through rigorous multi – track mixing, we achieved a seamless integration of music, sound effects, and voiceover narration, ensuring a uniform, high – impact auditory experience across the entire venue. By managing all core stages – from sound effects creation and spatial design to post – production mixing – we empowered this cultural landmark with world – class audio expertise.
