[ Happy City ] Meticulously produced by Shenzhen Happy Animation Co., Ltd., Happy City stands as China’s first 3D animated series to integrate sci-fi, educational, and adventure elements—an epic production spanning 3,000 minutes in total runtime. The series was selected for the National Radio and Television Administration’s “2012 Second Batch of Outstanding Domestic TV Animations” list, praised as “an original animated work combining strong educational value with entertainment appeal,” and has become a benchmark project among domestic science-themed animations.

Our team contributed comprehensively to the audio production of Happy City, including sound design, original music composition, voice acting, and final mixing. The series features a dynamic musical landscape: the main theme is whimsical and upbeat, enriched with electronic elements to captivate younger audiences while adding an air of mystery. The score adapts fluidly to the narrative—energetic and intense during action sequences, gentle and nuanced in emotional moments. By blending modern electronic instrumentation with traditional acoustic sounds, the soundtrack achieves remarkable depth: futuristic tech scenes are highlighted with synthetic textures, while heartfelt exchanges gain emotional resonance through violin and flute arrangements. Our goal was to craft an immersive auditory experience that elevates Happy City into a shining gem of animated storytelling.
