“New Star Town” produced by Shenzhen Huaqiang Digital Animation Co., Ltd., is China’s first full – length puppet animation created using fully digital production workflows. Utilizing a humorous episodic format, the series tackles real – world topics like parenting, family dynamics, and school life, using lively animal puppet characters to deliver positive values through edutainment. It is widely used by educational institutions as a supplementary resource for children’s moral development.

The production broke industry records by blending large – scale physical sets with digital technology, utilizing a massive, custom – built soundstage spanning thousands of square meters to pioneer industrial – scale puppet animation.

Our team was responsible for the complete audio production, including sound design, voice acting, and final mixing. Tailoring our approach to the unique physical expressiveness of puppet performances, we created custom sound effects that blend everyday realism with cartoon whimsicality. Combined with warm orchestral scoring and crisp dialogue processing, we enhanced character delivery and emotional nuance, crafting a premium, immersive listening experience.
