“Ling Shi Chuan Shuo” was developed in 2015 by Shenzhen Huashi Pictures as an ambitious 60 – episode urban fantasy web series. The story draws on the mythology of Goddess Nuwa mending the heavens, where the residual power of the Five – Color Stone crystallizes into five elemental artifacts – Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth – scattered across the modern world. Granting extraordinary powers to their chosen bearers, these artifacts bring together a group of young heroes in a contemporary metropolis, where they embark on a thrilling adventure to defend truth and kindness against encroaching darkness.

As an early pioneer combining Five Elements philosophy with urban fantasy, the project generated notable industry buzz upon its announcement due to its fresh world – building and fashion – forward visual style. While it did not proceed to wide public broadcast, its conceptual design and narrative framework demonstrate a forward – looking exploration of genre fusion in the domestic web series market.

Our team contributed to the audio production of this project, handling sound design, music editing, voice casting and performance, and final mixing.
