Launching with the first film in 2010, the hit trilogy follows a group of resourceful kids in suburban Berlin who form the Crocodile Gang. Together, they navigate street bullies, mysterious neighborhood incidents, and systemic injustices from the adult world, using courage, wit, and solidarity to protect their community. Blending action, humor, and authentic adolescent dynamics, the series became a cultural phenomenon across German – speaking territories.

Since its debut in the 1970s, the original book series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 27 languages, serving as a staple on recommended reading lists in schools throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
