“Soldier Shunliu: The Hero Battle” produced by Shenzhen Global Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. and directed by Lu Dexiang, is China’s first 3D animated feature film in the modern military genre, released nationwide in 2020. Adapted from true stories of post – 90s recruits from an elite active – duty unit, the film centers around an elite soldier competition. Through immersive, hyper – realistic depictions of modern warfare and classic tactical operations, it tells a compelling coming – of – age story about courage, friendship, and the forging of a soldier’s spirit.

The original animated series, Eagle Boy, has garnered over 30 prestigious honors, including the China National Culture and Arts Government Award for Best Animation, Guangdong Province’s Five – One Project Award, and the Top Ten Animation Brands of the Guangdong – Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, amassing over 5 billion views across platforms. Its theme song, Battle Declaration, was selected by the Ministry of National Defense for three consecutive years as the official recruitment anthem for the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
