“The Firebringers: An Investigation into Chinese Education Reform” is a highly acclaimed 10 – episode documentary series co – produced by Shenzhen Yuezhong Film & Television Co., Ltd. Premiering in 2013, the series immediately sparked nationwide dialogue and debate. The production team spent three years traveling over 30,000 kilometers across 18 provinces and cities, visiting more than 100 primary, secondary, and higher education institutions. Through raw, first – hand interviews with frontline teachers, education experts, students, and parents, the documentary gathers an unprecedented amount of primary source material.
