“The Ravages of Time” Co – developed by Hong Kong – based Gameone Group and Tong Li Publishing, The Ravages of Time is a turn – based MMORPG based on the acclaimed manga of the same name. Launched with a simultaneous open beta across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, the game immerses players in the historical Three Kingdoms era. Players choose from three elite factions – the Remnant Warriors, the Defeated Generals, or the Water Mirror Clan – to witness pivotal historical events where their strategic decisions directly alter the course of history. The title innovatively blends 2D hand – drawn background art reminiscent of classical ink paintings with dynamic 3D combat systems, highly customizable officer progression, and cross – server PvP arenas, redefining strategic depth for the Three Kingdoms genre.

The original comic, created by Chan Mou, won the Best Artistic Technique award at the 5th China Golden Dragon Awards. Its mobile adaptation, The Ravages of Time: Clash, earned the Best Digital Entertainment Software Gold Award at the Hong Kong ICT Awards, demonstrating the IP’s widespread appeal. Additionally, the franchise collaborated with Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 REMAKE on a crossover DLC featuring exclusive characters and story content, which received highly positive feedback from the gaming community.
