“T – Guardians” produced by Shenzhen Global Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. and co – directed by Shen Yu and Huang Yan, was released nationwide in August 2017. The animated feature tells the story of Mini – Tiger, a loyal toy doll who leads a toy army into a digital world to rescue his young owner from video game addiction, embarking on a fantastical adventure across virtual battlefields. Centered on the themes of companionship and growth, the narrative cleverly integrates video game mechanics with traditional Chinese martial arts, featuring creative sequences like match – 3 puzzle levels and bamboo forest duels on wooden stakes to construct a visual spectacle filled with childlike wonder and Eastern aesthetic imagination.

The screenplay won the Most Promising Animated Screenplay at the 2015 China International Cartoon & Animation Festival’s Golden Monkey Awards and was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2017 China Western Animation & Comics Festival’s New Light Awards, showcasing the creative team’s narrative strength in original animation.
