“Ling Shan Qi Yuan” developed independently by Tencent Games, is a traditional Chinese style turn – based RPG that launched in 2017. Set within a Journey to the West – inspired universe, the game constructs a realistic 3D world where players assume the role of cultivators, progressing through grand mythological narratives while uncovering cosmic mysteries. It innovatively integrates character development systems such as Creation crafting and Soul Seal mechanics, while implementing cross – server social and matchmaking systems to transcend traditional turn – based boundaries.

As Tencent’s key strategic title in the turn – based genre, Ling Shan Qi Yuan gained widespread acclaim from core players for its artistic excellence and systemic innovation. It was selected as a highlight showcase title at the 2017 Tencent Games Carnival (TGC) and presented as a new national style masterpiece at ChinaJoy. Its Everything Has a Soul concept and Eastern aesthetic style introduced fresh creative expressions to the genre.
