“Cherry Color” (original title: Luan Shi Qing Yuan), produced by Fujian Century Dragon Film & Culture Co., Ltd., directed by Shen Lei, and starring Huang Haibing, Qiao Zhenyu, Li Man, and Mu Tingting, is a 36-episode modern revolutionary historical drama. It premiered in 2012 on the Shaanxi News & General Channel, set against the backdrop of Shanghai on the eve of the 1937 Battle of Shanghai (the “August 13th Incident”). The story follows a group of idealistic young revolutionaries who face agonizing choices between national duty and personal emotions during China’s anti-Japanese resistance, ultimately dedicating themselves to the Anti-Japanese Salvation Movement.
As one of the three key works in Century Dragon’s “Republic of China Anti-Japanese Trilogy”, the series maintained stable viewership on regional networks and was praised by China Television News as “a sincere modern historical drama with historical authenticity and profound character development.” It was recommended for patriotic education screenings in middle schools across Fujian and Jiangsu provinces.
Our team handled the audio production, delivering sound design, music editing, voice recording, and final mixing for the series.
