“Cherry Color” (original title: Luan Shi Qing Yuan), Produced by Fujian Century Changlong Film & Television Company, this modern revolutionary drama was directed by Shen Lei and starred Huang Haibing and Qiao Zhenyu. First broadcast in 2012, the series is set against the backdrop of 1937 Shanghai, portraying the resilience and ideals of progressive youths during a national crisis.

We participated in the audio production for this series, including the theme song, score, voice dubbing, sound effects, and final mixing. The music blends traditional Chinese instruments with orchestral arrangements to create an atmosphere rich in both historical depth and emotional nuance. The theme song combines the erhu and guzheng with Western strings to build a grand sonic landscape, while the score employs the pipa and bamboo flute to delicately portray the characters’ emotions, and brass and percussion to accentuate the tension of war scenes.
