“Kung Food” is co-produced by Guangzhou Yidong Culture and Beijing Jingxi Culture. Directed by Sun Haipeng (who received the Shanghai Film Critics Association’s “Best New Director Award” in 2023 for I Am What I Am), the film tells the story of Bao Qiang, a brave baozi, and Musashi, a sushi bounty hunter, who team up to fight pirates and save the Food Continent—fusing wuxia spirit with Chinese culinary culture in a vibrant animated adventure.

The “Kung Food” series has garnered numerous international accolades, including the Asia Animation Excellence Award from the Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival, the Chinese Representative Work Award at the 26th Berlin Film Festival, the Tokyo TBS DigiCon6 Award, and was selected for the Contrechamp competition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

We participated in the audio production of this project, handling sound design, voice acting, music editing, and final mixing.
