Set within a Journey to the West-inspired universe, the game constructs a realistic 3D Lingshan world where players assume the role of cultivators, progressing through grand mythological narratives while uncovering cosmic mysteries. It innovatively integrates character development systems such as the “Creation” crafting system and “Soul Seal” inheritance mechanics, while implementing cross-server social and matchmaking systems to transcend traditional turn-based social boundaries, enhancing both strategic depth and long-term playability.

As Tencent’s key strategic title in the national style turn-based genre, [Ling Shan Qi Yuan] gained widespread acclaim from core players for its artistic excellence and systemic innovation upon launch. It was selected as a highlight showcase title at the 2017 Tencent Games Carnival (TGC) and presented as a “new national style masterpiece” at the ChinaJoy concurrent events, drawing significant industry attention. Its “Everything Has a Soul” world-building concept and Eastern aesthetic style introduced fresh creative expressions to the national style gaming genre.
