[ Kung Food Seasons 1–3 ]  A 156-episode 3D animated series produced by Guangzhou Easy Animation Culture & Communication Co., Ltd. and directed by Sun Haipeng, follows the adventures of Sihai—a steamed bun who accidentally destroys the ancient secret recipe that preserves the balance of the food universe—and his alliance with six uniquely skilled culinary warriors, including the dumpling Bao Qiang. Together, they embark on an epic cross-continental journey across mountains, rivers, and seas to restore the lost recipe, blending global gastronomy, regional traditions, and martial arts into a whimsical world where food culture meets fantasy.

Recognized for its technical excellence and educational-entertainment value, the series was honored as “Excellent Domestic Animation of 2014” by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television, becoming a flagship children’s animation that year. Director Sun Haipeng, celebrated for his mastery of realistic themes and Eastern aesthetics, later helmed the critically acclaimed animated film “I Am What I Am” (2021), which earned him the “Best New Director Award” at the 30th Shanghai Film Critics Association Awards. This further solidified his team’s reputation for narrative innovation and visual artistry.

Broadcast across major platforms like CCTV Kids, Golden Eagle Kids, Youku, and Tencent Video, the Kung Food franchise has amassed over 1.5 billion views. Its products—including books, toys, and themed exhibitions—have become commercial hits, establishing it as a hallmark Chinese IP that balances cultural depth with commercial appeal.

After launching the voice production for Season 1, Mobile Media conducted nationwide auditions across cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Over a dozen companies—including nationally renowned voice agencies—submitted trial recordings. After rigorous evaluation, our company was selected as the final production partner.
